Celebrating Home List November 2019

Each month, I am excited to be sharing the "Celebrating Home List". This list is a collection of simple ways to embracing home each month - music to set the mood, recipes to nourish and enjoy, activities to build rhythms and traditions. I hope these small ideas help you cultivate your own celebration of home.

Everything about this time of year begs for a hearty warm meal. This one of my favorite food bloggers.

She cooks healthy and satisfying meals and I love watching her cook on Instagram.

We've got this on the menu this week.

I am one of those people. I listen to Christmas music starting Nov. 1. Sometimes even soon. Judge me.

If you, like me, introduce Christmas music into your home on the early side, check out this album.

One new thing we are introducing this year is a gratitude box, although I'm thinking of ways to improvise since neither of my kids are even close to being able to write on their own - ha! But here's the general idea - periodically over November and December write down specific things you are thankful for and place inside a shoebox (or amazon box, let's be real). On Christmas morning, before opening any presents, open the gratitude box and read aloud the things you've written down. I'm not sure if the lesson will stick, but we are excited to give it a try in our home this year.

One last thing I am excited to include on the list is a free downloadable art print for you to use in your home. You all know I love home decor and creating spaces where our family can thrive.

I hope this art serves your home and the people in it well.

To download, right click and save to downloads. Print is designed to be 10" x 10", but can be resized to fit any frame.

Cheers to the memories made and the love shared within the walls of your home -

Katie
